- Cambridge is both a town and village in New York.
- The village Facebook page mentions that there are village archives, and periodically posts pictures from the archives. For example, a new cover photo dated March 8 2021, "Main Street, Cambridge, NY", "turn of the 20th Century".
- The official village web site has a history page at https://v3.cambridgeny.gov/historian that mentions archives "available for public viewing at the Village Offices."
- Sepratately it mentions a records center which "contains the municipal records of the Village of Cambridge and other local historical records of the surrounding area, including some genealogy."
